Q: Do I need to register to be able to search for Open Houses?
A: No, you may search for Open Houses anytime, for free, without registering.

Q: For how long will my Open House Genie ad run?
A: Open House Genie ads are good for 7 days.

Q: If my open house is Saturday and Sunday, do I have to pay twice?
A: No. Ads for each address are $10 for seven days. Day 1 starts with the first open house that is scheduled. You can schedule open house as many times within the seven days as you wish, so be sure to include a broker's open house, too! Just select "add a date" when placing your ad. Additional date selection boxes will pop up. Add your additional dates there.

Q: What happens to my ad after the Open House date passes?
A: Open House Genie ads are kept in archives for up to six months. We believe that although the Open House date has passed, the content is relevant to home buyers who may remember seeing an ad here and come back to it -- and to the agent. The ad would be located by searching by past dates as a range of time.

Q: Is there an option to include a virtual tour?
A: Yes, a virtual tour plus additional photos of the property can be added for $5 more.

Q: What should I do if I see an ad that has objectionable content?
A: Our goal is to create a community that helps to police any objectionable content so please send an email to info@openhousegenie.com about anything that's not cool for the site.

Q: Are you in every city?
A: Our site has been built to accommodate every major U.S. city and we're launching in San Diego first. We are currently planning five more cities to be announced later this year.

Q: Do some ads get greater prominence than others?
A: Absolutely not. In fact we pride ourselves on the fact no one company is sponsoring this site. There is no way to push one ad to the front of another. We consider every ad equally important. But that said, we do have a Featured Ad on our home page that changes at random.

Q: Do you sell things to help my Open House?
A: We will be selling Open House Genie signs, riders, flags and other items to bring buyers to your Open House. Everything will be reasonably priced and easy to ship to you. Free delivery within San Diego County. Stay tuned.

Q: What is being done to promote Open House Genie?
A: We have launched a large internet and print media campaign and will soon be doing radio and TV spots. Please help us promote the site by telling your colleagues, friends and clients.
